Our Client in Dallas, TX is hiring a Tax Director on a direct hire basis.Â

Tax Director :
The Tax Director will manage and oversee the Practice Area focused on HNWI, Partnerships, and engage with clients.
Manage 3 â?? 5 large engagements for specific "high profile" clients, ensuring client tax planning, preparation, and advisory needs are met.
Oversee and / or delegate workload to Managers and Seniors for 15 â?? 20 smaller engagements and serve as first point-of-contact to certain clients.
Serve as primary contact for any complex audit issues that may arise during the State or Federal audit process.Â
Handle reviewing the work of Tax Managers and Tax Seniors in the same practice area.
Mentor and help develop junior staff.
Conduct performance reviews of Seniors and Managers in the practice area
Work closely with Shareholders and other Practice Area Directors on specific projects and / or tasks related to the firmâ??s business needs.
Tax Director Profile :
Valid CPA license is required or J.D., L.L.M in lieu of CPA would suffice
Minimum 10 yearsâ?? tax experience, with at least 5 yearsâ?? experience from public accounting
Easily able to handle multiple client engagements and manage staff simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with HNWI and Partnerships in Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, Real Estate, and / or Financial Services industries preferred
