Our client in Houston, Texas has an immediate need for 2 Senior Help Desk Technicians on a contract basis and may consider contract to hire.

Senior Helpdesk Technician Role:
The Senior Helpdesk Technician will provide advanced technical support to end-users in a Windows environment, ensuring seamless operation of IT systems and services, while demonstrating exceptional problem-solving abilities, a strong customer service focus, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Deliver expert-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues in a Windows-based environment Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems associated with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Cloud, and other enterprise applications.
Oversee the creation and management of user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory.
Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
Assist in the rollout and administration of software updates, patches, and security configurations.
Record and manage all support requests and resolutions through a ticketing system.
Work collaboratively with the IT team to assess and implement improvements to IT processes and systems.
Offer training and support to junior helpdesk technicians and end-users.
Contribute to IT projects and initiatives as needed.
Senior Helpdesk Technician Background Profile:
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support position, specifically within Windows environments.
In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10 , Windows Server) and Microsoft 365.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
Capability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) are advantageous.
