We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service. This role involves traveling to client locations to install, upgrade, repair, and maintain various IT equipment, ensuring clients receive the best possible technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
- Engage with clients in a clear and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction with the technical support provided.
- Respond promptly to client requests for support, whether on-site or remotely, based on client needs and project requirements.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Perform installations, upgrades, and repairs for a range of IT equipment, including printers, PCs, data centers, and servers.
- Provide specialized technical support for HP servers and data center equipment, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to servers and data centers, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with team members, including dispatch, project managers, engineers, and other technicians, to deliver seamless support services.
- Maintain clear and accurate communication with clients and management, providing timely updates on the status of technical issues.
Inventory Management:
- Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring availability for service calls.
- Adhere to safety and quality procedures at all times, maintaining a high standard of work.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in field service or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of IT equipment, including HP servers and data center components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
