Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest problems in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of damage.
- Develop and implement effective pest control strategies tailored to each client's needs.
- Apply pesticides and other treatments in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and client communications.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and recommend follow-up services as needed.
- Utilize various tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery, to perform duties effectively.
- Drive to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with sales techniques is a plus, as you will be expected to promote additional services to clients.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for travel between job sites.
- Ability to work with both manual tools and power equipment safely and efficiently.
