Work Hours | Payment

• $25 to $35 Hourly | $4,345 to $6,083 Monthly | $52,142 to $73,000 Yearly
• 30-50 Hrs/week
• Normally: Mon - Friday, 8am-4pm. There are seasonal and weather related exceptions.
• Guaranteed 30hrs/week pay even in winter. If normal work slows down alternate options will be available.
• The first pay period runs from the 25th of the previous month through the 10th of the current month, the second pay period runs from the 11th through the 24th of the current month.
• You should receive your direct deposit paycheck within a week of the final date of each pay period.

Experience | Certifications:

• Legal US Resident
• Clean Driving Record
• Mechanically Inclined
• 2 Years Tree Care Industry Experience
• 1 Year Production Climbing Experience

Experience | Abilities | Expectations:

• Able to pass a drug screen, background check, and DOT physical any time in the duration of employment.
• Able to legally drive and operate vehicles in accordance with Michigan laws.

**Equipment:

• Required: maintain your own reliable transportation to and from jobsites and or the shop if you drive a company vehicle.
• Required: maintain your own chaps/chainsaw protective pants, footwear, gloves, eye protection (Company equipment subsidy can be used to help supplement these items.)

Daily Responsibilities:

• Arrive to work on time, ready to work a full day in adverse weather.
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Work with other crew members with the intent to facilitate safety and generate long-term productivity. Specific duties may involve, but are not limited to: production climbing, ground operations, running ropes, heavy equipment operation, equipment maintenance, organizing gear, truck driving, anything else related to correctly accomplishing the job.
• Keep assigned equipment and trucks clean and orderly.
• There will be occasional shop work, primarily: mowing | firewood processing | equipment maintenance | equipment and parts pickup/drop off
• This job role may occassionally involve responsibilities not listed above, in these exceptions, flexibility and adaptability is required.

Safety Responsibilities

• Safeguard company employees, clients, and the public from worksite hazards.
• Protect all property in work area.
• Immediately report any property damage to company management.
• Immediately report any loss or damage to equipment to company management.

• How much time have you spent working for a tree service company exclusively doing tree work? (The following are examples that DO NOT COUNT as exclusively doing tree work on a designated tree crew: Running a chainsaw occassionally for landscaping, lawncare, construction, farm work, etc.) If you haven't worked on a professional tree crew, don't say that you have to "look good" for this resume. YOU MAY STILL APPLY, but we need honest answers to understand your experience level!
• Are you able to do efficient production climbing, multiple days each week, both with ascenders and spikes?

• Tree Care Industry (exclusively with a designated tree crew): 1 year (Required)
