Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Head of Content and Communications to lead and elevate Frontline’s storytelling, content strategy, and communications. This role requires a proven leader with 7–10 years of experience creating and executing high-impact content strategies across multiple platforms.
This individual will own all aspects of content creation, including email marketing, newsletters, SEO content (with support from an agency), PR and communications (with agency support), and social media production. They will also bring incredible customer stories to life through user-generated content, testimonials, reviews, and rich media.
The ideal candidate will be skilled at leveraging AI tools to streamline the content creation process, including brainstorming, drafting, editing, and producing polished materials. Additionally, experience with light video production and editing is preferred, along with the ability to manage external resources for larger-scale projects.
This is a high-visibility leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can think strategically, and is hands-on enough to execute as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Content Leadership & Storytelling
- Develop and execute a cohesive content and communications strategy that highlights Frontline’s mission and the powerful stories of our customers.
- Lead the creation of high-quality content across email marketing, newsletters, blogs, and social media platforms.
- Own and manage user-generated content, customer testimonials, and reviews to maintain a steady flow of authentic, impactful stories.
- Produce and edit light video content while managing external resources for larger projects.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate the content creation process, including idea generation, drafting, editing, and optimization.
Strategic Communications & PR
- Oversee the SEO content strategy with the support of an external agency to drive organic growth and visibility.
- Manage PR and communications efforts, working with an external agency to secure media coverage and raise brand awareness.
- Ensure all messaging aligns with Frontline’s mission, values, and voice.
Audience Engagement & Channel Oversight
- Lead Frontline’s social media presence, driving engagement and growth across platforms.
- Develop targeted email campaigns and newsletters to drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create assets that align with broader business objectives.
Technical Expertise & Optimization
- Leverage tools such as content management systems, email marketing platforms, social media schedulers, and AI-driven platforms to efficiently manage campaigns.
- Monitor content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) and use data insights to continually refine strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging AI tools, and new content formats to ensure Frontline remains innovative in its storytelling approach.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7–10 years in content marketing, communications, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to lead successful strategies across multiple channels.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing and mentoring teams or working cross-functionally with external partners and agencies.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in email platforms, content management systems, social media tools, and AI-driven content platforms; experience with light video production and editing is a plus.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop long-term strategies while also being hands-on with execution.
- Storytelling Expertise: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a focus on customer-centric narratives.
