Frore Systems is looking for an ASIC Mixed Signal Designer. The successful candidate will be :
- High impact leader who will play a key anchor role in Frore’s ASIC strategy, architecture and roadmap.
- Responsible for translating product needs into ASIC design requirements & Drive ASIC architectural and functional specifications to drive system on chip solutions.
- Drive system behavioral simulation and key module designs.
Collaborate with Digital Design, FW and SW teams to develop an integrated drive system to maximize performance.
Evaluate area, performance, power, and ease-of-implementation trade-offs between different implementations.Review and configure 3rd party IP. Communicate with IP / Process / Tool Vendors to leverage best in class available technologies. Finalize and oversee the chip design methodology with external ASIC design teams.Scope out and formalize pathway for ASIC design, verification, and physical implementation.Lead, Plan, Influence, and Setup of ASIC design infrastructure ground up. Support product teams with documentation, code reviews, and silicon debugThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications :
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 7 years of experience in CMOS high precision Analog, Digital and Power mixed signal SoC ASIC development.Expertise in designing Oscillators, Bandgap references, LDOs, Data Converters, Low noise amplifiers, and Switching regulators will be a plusStrong knowledge and experience with many aspects of SOC design and implementation flows.Strong System-level modeling skills to drive design.Understanding Sensor / Transducer Interfaces, strong understanding about noise analysis on frequency synthesizer, phase noise & delays.Proven experience in assessing process / foundry, estimating area, costs & power consumption.Demonstrated expertise in authoring design specifications and tracking execution timelines.Detailed knowledge of development methodologies, design flows including EDA integration, foundry PDK and technology limitations.Good grasp of design tape-out checks / process to foundries and solid understanding of supply chain for ASIC backend development.Ability to work with broader teams on physical design and implementation, top-level floor planningExperience in assessing design bugs and recommending fixes or workarounds to balance technical requirements with schedule.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with diligent attention to details.Organized, self-motivated and able to work effectively across internal and customer teams.Continuously finding opportunities for improving design quality and design practicesBase salary : $150K to $225K
Total compensation includes base salary, potential stock options and annual bonus.
