Who you are:
As an Internal Support Project Coordinator, you are part of bringing the vision to life. You are responsible for receiving, prioritizing, and responding to statewide furniture and relocation requests. You will use your strong communication skills to interact and coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to work through any furniture or relocation related issues. More than that, this role is about constant improvement and helpfulness and doing so with our signature all-win approach in mind.
What you’ll do:
Oversee statewide requests for furniture and office relocations. Remain up to date with furniture trends and functional requirements
Collaborate with departments/vendors to plan and implement office relocations. Manage the process from its initial request through to completion, handling any issues as they arise
In coordination with Project Management and Purchasing, facilitate the process of obtaining furniture for new locations. Ensure that necessary purchase orders are approved and issued to the Purchasing department
Verify that quotes, approvals, and purchase orders all follow the appropriate capital expenditure processes. Ensure items are tagged appropriately for accounting purposes
Ensure that there are adequate resources to help with furniture and office relocation requests, including those situations that are time sensitive
Act as a liaison to all levels of management, providing guidance and status updates concerning relevant requests
Always taking action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What you’ll need:
5 years related work experience
Ability to travel
Good driving record
Ability to respond to after-hours requests
Strong organization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Additional Preferred Skills:
Experience with commercial or residential construction
