Frost Brown Todd LLP, a national law firm with 1000 legal and business professionals in eighteen offices, is currently searching for a full-time Lateral Recruiting Coordinator to join our firm. The Lateral Recruiting Coordinator will provide essential support to the legal recruiting team, with a focus on managing resumes and scheduling interviews for qualified lateral attorney candidates. This individual plays a key role in delivering a seamless and professional candidate experience, while helping to ensure the smooth execution of recruiting operations.

This role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as it involves frequent coordination with lateral candidates, external search firms, and firm leadership. A professional, proactive attitude, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are essential to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry of attorney resumes, confirm accuracy of online resume application, and run reports as needed using viDesktop Recruiting Module.
- Post and manage all open lateral non-partner positions within viDesktop.
- Process and route lateral non-partner resumes to the Lateral Recruiting Manager.
- Coordinate scheduling for lateral non-partner interviews as directed by the Lateral Recruiting Manager.
- Plan travel accommodations for candidates who do not reside in direct markets.
- Conduct follow-up with lateral interviewers and route completed interview summaries immediately following the interview.
- Draft offer letters for lateral candidates in collaboration with the Lateral Recruiting Manager and Lateral Recruiting Director.
- Coordinate orientation schedules for new lateral attorneys.
- Process and track search firm payments and referral bonus payments.
- Save signed search firm contracts to the firm’s document management system and assist with contract renewals under the supervision of the Lateral Recruiting Director.
- Create prospect lists of lateral attorneys in key markets to identify new talent to bring to FBT, with oversight from the Lateral Recruiting Manager.
- Periodically review communication templates within viDesktop and share with Lateral Recruiting Director to update and edit as needed.
- Support firm Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives in building pipelines and recruiting attorneys.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other departments including IT, Human Resources, Finance, Office Administration and Marketing.
- Provide supplemental support to the student recruiting team under the supervision of the Student Recruiting Manager.
Job Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a professional setting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an office setting. Professional Services Firm experience is a plus.
- Possess a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Must be proficient utilizing various Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Action oriented to seek out work as needed to maintain high productivity.
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Ability to demonstrate good organizational skills including record keeping, data collection, and filing.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate professionally and effectively by e-mail, telephone, and in person.
- Ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors.
- Knowledge and utilization of LinkedIn and other social media is preferred.
- Ability to travel by car to other FBT offices as needed. Travel time estimates are minimal (approx. 5%).
