Frost Brown Todd LLP, a national law firm with 1000 legal and business professionals in eighteen offices, is currently searching for a full-time LMS Specialist to join our firm. The LMS Specialist will manage the daily operations of the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS) and develop engaging courses and materials for delivery through the platform. Working closely with internal teams, the LMS Specialist will align learning strategies with business objectives and enhance learning outcomes through thoughtful content and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and launch of the firm’s LMS, ensuring it is fully optimized for employee learning and development.
  • Administer and maintain the LMS platform, including creating organizational units (courses, sessions, learning paths), uploading supporting media, and reviewing content for continued relevance and accuracy.
  • Manage user roles and groups to facilitate access and deliver content to the appropriate internal audiences.
  • Assign relevant training modules to employees based on their roles, departments, and professional development goals.
  • Develop engaging and interactive eLearning modules, including text, visuals, audio, video, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy of course content.
  • Maintain an organized and structured training content library, ensuring materials are up-to-date, well-organized, and aligned with firm objectives.
  • Act as an internal subject matter expert on content creation and assist others involved in the development of content.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to the LMS. Work with IT Operations and the firm’s LMS vendor to resolve system issues.
  • Upload, test, and manage learning content, courses, and other educational materials.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create, update, and maintain training curriculum within the LMS.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to create engaging content that introduces new hires to the firm, its culture, and leadership team.
  • Partner with department leaders to assign and manage training content for new hires during their first days, weeks, and months with the firm.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Review new and revised content to assess its effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum two years of experience in instructional design and LMS administration.
  • Proficiency with authoring tools for eLearning content.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong writing and editing abilities.
  • Visual design skills to create aesthetically appealing learning materials.
  • Strong technical and business analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders.
  • Commitment to quality and detail.
  • Ability to organize work and manage projects independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of tasks simultaneously.
  • Creative, flexible, and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Exceptional client service.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines.
