Frost Brown Todd LLP, a national law firm with 1000 legal and business professionals across seventeen offices, is currently searching for a full-time Student Recruiting Coordinator to join our firm. This key role will support the recruitment team in scheduling interviews, coordinating orientation schedules, and assisting with the planning of the summer program.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive, can-do professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate detailed reports using viDesktop Recruiting Module. Regularly update recruiting spreadsheets with accurate and current information, ensuring seamless coordination and comprehensive data for decision-making during high-volume recruiting periods.
- Coordinate orientation schedules and materials for summer associates and entry-level associates.
- Coordinate the planning of the summer program including preparations and social outing scheduling, in collaboration with the Legal Recruiting Manager.
- Prepare on-campus recruiting packets for schools and compile OCI recap materials for review.
- Schedule student and entry-level interviews.
- Follow up with interviewers and route completed interview summaries as requested.
- Support firm Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives in building pipelines and recruiting summer and entry-level associates.
- Monitor market trends and report to the Recruiting Team.
- Use LinkedIn and other social media sites to connect with potential candidates and amplify firm and lawyer posts.
- Post and manage student open positions on firm portal, school sites and job boards as needed.
- Coordinate gathering data for completion of NALP forms and surveys.
- Conduct due diligence on all new student and entry-level hires and manage and track new hire completed paperwork.
- File correspondence and other records.
- Prepare decision letters for all student candidates post-interview.
- Support and back-up the Lateral Recruiting Coordinator.
Job Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an office setting. Experience recruiting for a Professional Services Firm is highly preferred.
- Possess a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Occasional regional travel may be required.
- Must be proficient utilizing various Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Action oriented to seek out work as needed to maintain high productivity.
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Ability to demonstrate good organizational skills including record keeping, data collection, and filing.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate professionally and effectively by e-mail, telephone, and in person.
- Ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors.
- Ability to travel by car to other FBT offices as needed. Travel time estimates are minimal (approx. 5%).
