What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Associate Attorney position at Frost Brown Todd?
The Cincinnati, Ohio office of Frost Brown Todd LLP, a full-service AM Law 200 firm with more than 600 attorneys in 18 offices and 9 states plus Washington, D.C., seeks an associate with 2-5 years of substantive experience in environmental law. Although substantive experience in environmental law is strongly preferred, candidates with extensive experience in state or federal administrative law and a passion for environmental law will also be considered. An ideal candidate will have regulatory counseling, transactional and/or litigation experience under major environmental programs, including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and state and federal “brownfield” and other environmental investigation and cleanup programs.
The salary range for this role accounts for the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $170,000 to $200,000. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, relevant experience and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.
