Senior Graphic Designer

Frost Buddy is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for design, exceptional visual storytelling skills, and a strong ability to lead creative projects from concept to completion. As a senior member of our design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity and developing innovative visual solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of both the online and retail worlds, as well as a solid knowledge of sports, including collegiate, NHL, MLB, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creative Development:

• Conceptualize and execute high-quality designs for a variety of mediums, including digital, print, social media, packaging, and more.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and other teams to create visuals that align with Frost Buddy’s brand strategy and business objectives.

1. Project Leadership:

• Lead multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and exceed quality standards.
• Develop and present creative concepts to stakeholders and provide clear rationales for design choices.

1. Brand Stewardship:

• Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
• Innovate and introduce fresh design approaches while staying true to Frost Buddy’s brand identity.

1. Staying Current:

• Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure Frost Buddy remains relevant and competitive.
• Share insights and best practices with the broader team.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 3 years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work across different mediums.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
• Experience with motion graphics, video editing, and/or web design is a plus.
• Key Competencies:
• Strong conceptual thinking and visual storytelling abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for typography, color, and composition.
• Familiarity with online and retail design needs.
• Solid understanding of sports culture, including collegiate, NHL, MLB, and related trends.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
