Frost Law Group, LLC is seeking an upbeat, positive, self-motivated, dependable, organized, and teachable Estate Planning and Probate Paralegal to be a part of a positive team environment at a growing Summerville law firm. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, customer service skills, must be self-reliant, able to learn new software, and able to multi-task. This is a full-time position and pay will be based on experience. Duties for this position will include:
- Communicate with and set up appointments for potential new clients.
- Draft, read, and interpret legal documents, including durable power of attorney.
- Draft real estate documents necessary to transfer real estate to revocable trusts.
- Prepare documents for meetings and conferences.
- Draft estate planning documents for attorney to review.
- Review documents with attorney prior to and at the time of client signings and put client binders together.
- Review evidence and documents related to probating an estate.
- Draft probate documents for filing.
- Manage case files in law firm’s law practice software.
- Assist clients with the probate process.
- Track time for billing.
- Continued communication with clients throughout their legal matter.
- Close out files once completed.
