Job description
We are seeking a Tax Paralegal to join our Annapolis law firm.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Compiles and organizes information concerning issues identified by Attorneys
- Works with Clients and Attorneys to gather, track, analyze, and produce documents
- Creates and maintains Client files
- Assists with calendaring and maintaining critical deadlines
- Interfaces with the IRS or other government agencies
- Collaborates with various practice groups, providing support as needed
- Identifies and formulates solutions for problems as they arise
- Provides general support for our growing practice
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative transactional paralegal or similar experience preferred preferably with Tax, Bankruptcy or Estate/Trust administration & planning work.
- Professional demeanor, excellent communication, organizational and writing skills.
- Analytical skills and Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately process a variety of tasks and high volumes of work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
