Who You Are
As a Select Sales Representative, you’ll screen leads and conduct client and prospect meetings to determine if Frost Insurance is the right fit for their needs. You’ll inspect current insurance policies, analyze risk, and develop and deliver formal, tailored insurance proposals to current and prospective clients based on their needs. You’ll be responsible for selling employee benefits and property and casualty insurance to new and existing prospects with smaller, less complex business needs. Using your skills, outgoing personality, and competitive nature to stay up to date on the latest trends and products to best serve our customers and meet goals.

You’ll be responsible for selling employee benefits and property and casualty insurance to new and existing prospects with smaller, less complex business needs. What You’ll Do
- Prospect new business from existing clients, program business channels, and identified target groups and leads given by Frost producers and bankers
- Service assigned accounts while contacting potential new customers
- Survey prospects to determine insurance needs
- Inspect current insurance policies, risk management plans, property, products, and records
- Screen leads to determine if SBIU or PIC criteria is met and if a Frost Insurance Agency market exists to satisfy the need
- Collect detailed risk and underwriting information, including census data, survey data, and loss history
- Develop and deliver formal insurance proposals, including information concerning coverage, limits, deductibles, and other pertinent details
- Conduct client and prospect appointments to discuss proposals and renewals, explaining all details while communicating a desire to conduct business
- Previous insurance experience
- Texas Department of Insurance–issued general agent/L&H and P&C license or attainment within 90 days of employment
- Excellent communication and auditory skills
- Ability to work well with others and establish rapport quickly
- Excellent time and organizational management skills
- Ability to pursue and close sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Bachelor's degree
- Insurance professional designation such as ACSR, CEBS, RHU, CLU, CLCU, CLFC
