As a Senior Enterprise Security Engineer - Azure Identity Engineer, you are responsible for developing processes and procedures to ensure the security of Frost Bank’s Azure identity infrastructure. You will thoroughly investigate and implement security and risk mitigation controls affecting identities in Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and SailPoint. Who You Are
As a Senior Enterprise Security Engineer - Azure Identity Engineer, you are responsible for developing processes and procedures to ensure the security of Frost Bank’s Azure identity infrastructure. You will thoroughly investigate and implement security and risk mitigation controls affecting identities in Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and SailPoint. You believe in effective communication and will have the opportunity to address potential problems and solutions to complex issues by working collaboratively with other technical teams and partners.
What You’ll Do
- Understand the security and controls needed to implement a role-based access control (RBAC) design at all Azure levels
- The ability to streamline access certifications within Azure
- Configure Azure for automated access provisioning and deprovisioning
- Drive connectivity of Azure to other platforms and applications, including SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, for identity management purposes
- Collaborate with application solution architect’s designs to include Identity Governance Administration requirements
- Provide enhanced reporting capabilities through Azure Command-Line Interface (CLI), PowerShell, and other scripting languages
- Collaborate with other Information Technology teams to implement Azure Landing Zone (ALZ) and other cloud security projects related to ALZ
- Implement and optimize centralized identity and access management systems
- Ensure secure access to resources and data following adherence to least privilege principles
- Design, implement, and oversee performance indicators and reporting mechanisms to ensure system compliance
- Provide technical direction regarding IT Security standards for identity infrastructure configuration
- Coordinate remediation efforts with multiple stakeholders to ensure security compliance
- Provide guidance and support to members of the security teams
- Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
- 6 years as a network and/or security engineer in a corporate environment
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Active Directory
- Strong understanding of identity and access management principles
- Experience with Identity Governance administration tools
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Ruby, HTML and SQL Queries
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft M365 applications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Azure Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, CISM, GIAC
