Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor and cannabis laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals.
- Manage employee relations, addressing conflicts and facilitating resolutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with Montana Cannabis Control Divison (CCD) and OSHA regulations and other relevant labor laws.
- Utilize HR software systems for efficient data management and reporting.
- Conduct research data collection to inform HR strategies and initiatives.
- Provide guidance on contract negotiations and employment agreements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training programs and employee development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management or a related field.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to mediate disputes effectively.
- Computer proficency in software
- Familiarity with HR software systems such as Paychex, UltiPro, Workday, or Oracle is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements is an advantage.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
- A degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
