Title: Repackaging Technician

Salary: $17-$19/hour

Job Class: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Job Summary: This role is responsible for the preparation, production, and packaging of cannabis products in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to strict safety and hygiene protocols, hand-eye coordination proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently within a team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Product Preparation: Assist in the preparation of cannabis for production, including trimming, grinding, and drying processes.
• Packaging: Package finished products accurately and efficiently, ensuring all products are correctly labeled and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks at various stages of production to ensure product consistency and quality.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including tracking and recording all production data accurately within appropriate records and within the inventory tracking system.
• Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, including routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment and workspaces.
• Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including state and local cannabis regulations.
• Safety: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• All other duties as assigned

• Work Conditions: Work is performed in a controlled environment with exposure to cannabis products and equipment.

• Must be able to position self to reach stock shelves and move items
• Ability to communicate information and ideas professionally so others clearly understand
• Ability to handle repetitive motions for extended periods of time
• Requires the ability to remain stationary for 8-10 hours per day
• Requires consistent hand-eye coordination and excellent hand dexterity
• Familiarity with METRC seed-to-sale software is a plus
• Experience with the use of Dutchie/Leaflogix is a plus
• Familiarity with Massachusetts Adult-Use Cannabis policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in assembly, machine operation, kitchen prep or cannabis manufacturing preferred
• Must possess a valid state issued driver's license or ID
• Must be 21 years of age or older per the Cannabis Control Commission regulations
• Ability to pass a background check per the Cannabis Control Commission regulations
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to move 30 lbs.
