Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Softball Coach / Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in playing / coaching and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for student-athletes. This position will be responsible for developing players' skills, promoting teamwork, and encouraging personal growth both on and off the field.
Responsibilities
- Instruction for players of all ages in group classes, camps, private lessons and parties held at our facility and at offsite locations
- Conduct training sessions focusing on technique, strategy, and teamwork.
- Manage behavior effectively to create a supportive learning environment.
- Educate athletes on the rules of the game, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
- Organize and lead team meetings to discuss goals, strategies, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive athletic program.
- Monitor the progress of each player and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages participation and enjoyment of the sport.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in an educational or athletic setting is preferred.
- Strong behavior management skills to maintain discipline while promoting a positive atmosphere.
- Background in physical education or related fields is advantageous.
- Available to work on select weekday afternoons through evenings and/or weekend days
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with athletes, parents, and staff.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes to reach their full potential.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in coaching techniques.
- Experience as a player, an instructor or coach is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
