The Superintendent of Schools announces the following positions to support students in the Extended School Year (ESY) program this summer.
Special Education Occupational Therapist
Extended School Year Program Frank M. Silvia Elementary School
DATES: 07/07/2025-08/01/2025
HOURS: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm = 4 hours per day
4 days per week Monday thru Thursday
TITLE: ESY Special Education Occupational Therapist
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Need Occupational Therapy license issued in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Two years experience with Special Needs students preferred
REPORTS TO: Site Coordinator/Program Director
SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES:These responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Itinerant Occupational therapy services for Special Education students Elementary through high school as needed.
- Supervise COTA’s providing services during ESY
- Serve as a consultant to Special Education staff
- Participate in in-service training for Regular and Special Education staff
- Will track data as identified in student's IEP and complete progress reports
- Perform other appropriate duties at the direction of Site Coordinator/Program Director
SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Hourly rate in accordance with Fall River Educator Association Contract
