Inhouse Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and ready for use in a timely manner. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service expected.

Responsibilities

• Inventory
• Operate washing machines and dryers to launder linens and garments according to established procedures.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean laundry items efficiently.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Inspect items for stains or damage and take appropriate action to address these issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques, sorting and inventory'
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods while performing laundry tasks.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry duties.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service quality.
