Position Summary:
The JD Edwards E1 Analyst/Developer will play a critical role in optimizing, maintaining, and supporting the JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne system for Fruit of the Earth. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards E1 ERP, focusing on manufacturing, supply chain, and financial modules. This position is essential to ensuring our business processes align with system capabilities while supporting the organization's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration & Support
- Team leader in upcoming migration from JE Edwards World A9.4 to JD Edwards E1 to include software migration and hardware migration from IBM i9 to Oracle OCI.
- Serve as primary point of contract for JD Edwards E1 end-users, providing troubleshooting and technical support.
- Monitor and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless operations.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to configure, test, and implement system updates and enhancements.
- Process Optimization:
- Analyze business processes and recommend JDE-driven solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality) to identify and implement system improvements.
- Customize and optimize reports, workflows, and dashboards using JD Edwards E1 tools.
- Implementation & Upgrades
- Assist in the planning, testing, and execution of system upgrades, patches, and integrations.
- Manage the implementation of new JD Edwards E1 modules or functionality as required by the business.
- Ensure all configurations adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Training & Documentation
- Provide end-user training and create detailed system documentation, including workflows, user guides, and FAQs.
- Serve as a JD Edwards E1 subject matter expert, supporting team members and leadership with insights into system capabilities.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Collaborate with the Regulatory, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure JD Edwards E1 supports compliance with FDA regulations, product labeling, and all other audit reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain custom reports to support business needs, including inventory management, production planning, and financial reporting.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards E1, including configuration, implementation, and support.
- Modules Expertise: Deep understanding of at least two of the following modules: Manufacturing, Financials, Distribution, Supply Chain, or Quality Management.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with JD Edwards E1 development tools, UBE, QBE and Business Functions.
- Experience with SQL queries, database structures, and data extraction/reporting tools.
- Familiarity with integrations between JD Edwards E1 and other business systems (e.g., EDI, RFgen, UCC Labeling).
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of optimizing business processes through ERP systems.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with migration from JD Edwards World on IBM i-series platform to JD Edwards E1 on Oracle OCI.
- Experience in the skincare, cosmetics, or consumer goods manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in FDA-regulated environments (e.g., product labeling and safety standards).
- Familiarity with integration between JD Edwards E1 and other business systems (e.g., EDI, RFgen mobile data collection, UCC Labeling, S4i imaging).
- JDE Business Intelligence tools, including ReportsNow and others.
