Role Overview for Mixed Signal Design Engineer - Senior Staff :
Seeking an experienced, highly technical engineer for the a development group to advance strategic IP for various business and product opportunities. The focus is on digital/mixed-signal design, including precision references, IOs, power, and mixed-signal/analog circuitry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and verify digital IP within mixed-signal IP environments at block and chip levels
- Collaborate with digital back-end engineers on synthesis, scan test insertion, place-and-route, timing closure, and timing models
- Work on digital for ADC/DAC calibration and controls
- Work with analog and digital designers across the company to support IP development and integration
- Support block-level and chip-level verification for mixed-signal designs
What we are seeking for the Mixed Signal Design Engineer - Senior Staff
- Educated to MSEE or PhD with 4 years of digital or mixed-signal IC design and verification experience
- Experience with digital for ADC/DAC calibration and control, Phase-lock-loop (PLL) control, or similar mixed-signal blocks
- Understanding of digital design, modeling, design verification, and Cadence environment
- Analog/mixed-signal modeling for functional and timing-accurate simulations, AMS and DMS simulation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
