GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Apple sorter personnel will, under the direction of the Production Lead, perform a variety of general tasks related to food processing. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, sorting apples or other fruit as needed, chemical cleaning the apple inspection line, dumping drums / boxes, lining drums, cleaning drums, general clean-up, and other duties as assigned. Will be required to be chemical trained so that to perform the inspection line CIP whenever needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Positive, team-oriented attitude.

A willingness to do whatever the company needs including, but not limited to :

High grade sort apples or other fruit as needed.

General cleanup or maintenance of the facility.

Washing and moving drums.

Other duties as assigned.

Ability to work safely around equipment.

Follow company policies and procedures.

WORK EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge in Forklift operations.

Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. continuously.

Understanding of GMP policies and food safety.

Good reading, writing and verbal skills
