Description
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Duties:
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating new hire orientations.
- Ensure all required documents are completed during the onboarding process including background checks and drug testing.
- Employee Records Management:
- Maintain up-to-date employee records and benefits enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and company policies.
- Monitor leave management including FMLA
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Review monthly ACA reports to ensure compliance
Accounting Duties:
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process invoices, track payments, and manage accounts payable.
- Handle customer invoicing and collections, ensuring timely payments.
- Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records, including ledgers and journals.
- Reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Provide support during financial audits by ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Tax Compliance:
- Assist with preparing and filing tax returns, including sales tax and payroll taxes.
- Ensure timely submission of tax filings and manage compliance with applicable tax laws.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in both HR and accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and HR management tools (Paycom).
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll processes, and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
