Warehouse Delivery Driver

Description

The Warehouse Delivery Driver should function in a team-oriented environment. The primary focus of the Warehouse Delivery Driver is to drive an established route for delivery of goods and working in the warehouse when not driving.  The Warehouse Delivery Driver will work under the direction of the warehouse manager to help ship and receive products in a timely manner.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The Warehouse Delivery Driver must have sufficient experience plus a combination of training and work experience that indicates possession of knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in this position.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid class “D” driver’s license and pass a yearly DOT physical.
• Must have no recent moving or driving violations
• Must have the ability to always operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner.
• Must be able to provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• Must be able to assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders.
• Must be able to read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to move, gather, or distribute and/or ship.
• Must be able to perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
