We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery within a production environment to ensure smooth and efficient operation. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively on a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications and safety guidelines.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues, such as malfunctions or irregularities.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure product quality and minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to ensure optimal functionality.
- Perform quality checks and inspections on products throughout the production process.
- Keep accurate records of machine usage, maintenance, and production output.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in machine operation or manufacturing are a plus.
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
- Basic understanding of machine mechanics and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and safety instructions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
