Medical Care Provider Needed
Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry team. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts, utilizing specialized interventions and supporting patient well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Document patient care given.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants should have a current state RN license, a Bachelor's degree is preferred, and additional requirements include Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire, ACLS and PALS within six months of hire, one year of experience, and ASLS certification.
