The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room provides critical care to patients during night shifts, utilizing specialized interventions to enhance patient well-being.
With a focus on compassionate care and collaboration, the RN manages patient treatment plans, administers medications, and educates families about health needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documenting patient care given.
- Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assisting patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
