SUMMARY :
Flooring Services of Texas is seeking a passionate, customer service and team-oriented Design Consultant for our Design Gallery located in Houston, Texas.
We are seeking Design Consultants who will work closely with clients in the showroom and create an individualized design experience that will allow them to personalize their home to their specific tastes and lifestyles. Design Consultants with prior interior design experience with a home builder is desired and should have the ability to multi-task while conversing with clients and entering selections into a computer program.
The primary responsibility of a Design Consultant is to educate and provide professional advice to clients on the appearances and functionality of all interior finish products. Design Consultants must have the ability to guide clients through different selections based on style, quality, and price.
Our ideal Design Consultant will have natural talent and predisposition to design, along with an openness to being trained around skills that will ensure we exceed the expectations of our clients.
- Professional customer service for customers calling and visiting the Design Gallery
- Assisting clients with making selections to customize their home
- Entering customer information / selections into computer system
- Preparing designer selection packages that include drawing details
- Coordinating with home builder to confirm features, options, and upgrades
