JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an Inventory Specialist, you are required to uphold high standards of material management and maintain organizational excellence. You will work with vendors to receive and ship inventory to internal and external customers, both domestic and international. As a member of the Inventory team, you will ensure and be responsible for a smooth flow of products coming in, exiting, and remaining in the warehouse, while being committed to upholding FS.COM’s desire to provide an excellent customer experience.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment in safe and skilled manner.
- Maintain inventory levels throughout warehouse.
- Breaking down and sorting mixed pallets.
- Expertly stack and store inventory in compliance with rules and regulations to maintain quality and safety.
- Using and maintaining equipment regularly to ensure successful operations.
- Maintain organized records of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Researching, analyzing, and resolving inventory discrepancies and issues.
- Set up new inventory.
- Maintain safe and orderly work area in compliance with company policy and procedures.
- Perform daily Housekeeping duties.
- Maintain safe and orderly work area in compliance with company policy and procedures.
- Assisting with picking, packing, and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Closing warehouse at end of shift as needed.
- Work effectively as a member of a team by contributing to overall team success.
- Communicate with team members and management when discrepancies or errors occur.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 Years of experience working with Forklift and Cherry Picker
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Able to work on your feet for extended period of time
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly
- Intermediate computer/math skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
