Description

FS-Elliott is growing! We are looking for a Welder to come join our team. Our Welders are responsible for fitting and welding carbon steel and stainless-steel parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on metal structures and components using various welding techniques.


• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.


• Inspect and ensure the quality of welds, making adjustments as necessary.


• Maintain and clean welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper functioning and safety.


• Follow all safety procedures and wear the appropriate protective equipment at all times.


• Collaborate with the production team to meet project timelines and specifications.


• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.


• Participate in regular safety meetings and maintain a safe work environment.


• Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Proven experience as a welder.


• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred.


• Proficient in various welding methods, including MIG, TIG, and Stick.


• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.


• Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to workplace safety.


• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
