What You’ll Do:
Lead the Beverage Vision
- Oversee and elevate the bar program at all Midwood Smokehouse locations, with a heavy emphasis on tequila and craft beer
- Curate seasonal cocktail menus that complement our smoked meats and Southern fare
- Maintain deep knowledge of whiskey, including tastings, flights, and rare bottle offerings
Direct Operations & Development
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships across all units
- Create and implement training programs to ensure bartenders and waitstaff are knowledgeable, consistent, and passionate about our offerings
- Ensure operational excellence with a focus on cost control, quality, and consistency
Drive Guest Experience
- Set the tone for bar service and guest engagement—create memorable experiences with every pour
- Develop and lead tequila-focused events, tastings, and brand partnerships
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years in a high-volume bar or restaurant leadership role (experience across multiple locations is a plus)
- Deep love and knowledge of tequila, plus a solid understanding of craft beer and cocktails
- Proven track record of building successful beverage programs
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Comfortable working peak service hours, nights, and weekends
- Able to lift 50 lbs and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- A palate for great BBQ is a must—we pair our pours with pulled pork
