We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Catering Sales Representative to join our team at Plate Perfect Catering. As a Catering Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in promoting our services, generating sales, and managing relationships with both new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage client relationships.
- Engage with new and existing corporate clients, understanding their catering needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities, respond to inquiries, and follow up on leads to grow our corporate catering book.
- Develop detailed quotes and menu packages that align with client goals, budgets, and event needs.
- Collaborate with our operations and culinary teams to ensure every order is executed smoothly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records.
What we are looking for:
- High School diploma or equivalent. A degree in Sales, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, catering, hospitality, or event planning (corporate catering is a big plus)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow- through.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage time independently.
- Comfortable with part-time, flexible hours (15-25 hours/week), including occasional client-facing meetings or event support.
- Passion for food and hospitality.
- Familiarity with the Charlotte business community is a bonus.
- Experience with Caterease is preferred.
