Summary
As a GIS Analyst at FSC, Inc., you will be instrumental in analyzing geographic data and creating visual representations that support our engineering projects. This role is vital to our mission of delivering high-quality surveying services while utilizing advanced technology to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cartographic Excellence: Develop high-quality, data-driven maps that support strategic decision-making.
- Geospatial Data Collection: Apply expertise in GNSS survey collection methods to ensure precise and reliable data.
- GIS System Management: Utilize ArcGIS for Server and Geocortex Essentials to configure, maintain, and optimize geospatial systems.
- Data Transformation & Automation: Leverage experience with FME Workbench to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Aerial Mapping Integration: Utilize UAS data and imagery to enrich mapping projects with advanced perspectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Sciences, or a related field.
- Proficiency in GIS software, particularly ArcGIS, for spatial analysis tasks.
- Strong experience with relational databases and for data management.
- Ability to visualize complex datasets effectively using various tools.
- Familiarity with JavaScript for web-based GIS applications is a plus.
- Experience in building and maintaining databases for geospatial information.
- Knowledge of SharePoint or similar collaboration tools is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
