Oil Service Manager Job Description
Job Summary:
The Oil Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the oil service department, including operations, customer service, and team management. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Recruit, hire, and train service technicians.
- Assign tasks and schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts.
- Customer Service:
- Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and control costs to maintain profitability.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Technical Expertise:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Provide technical guidance to the service team.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE OIL FIELD AND HAVE A MA OIL BURNERS (OR HIGHER) LICENSE.
- Proven experience in oil service management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of oil service equipment and procedures.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., scheduling, inventory management).
- Valid driver's license.
- Valid licenses in required fields

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
