What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at FST Logistics, Hyway Logistics Limited?
Responsibilities :
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Prepares and records assets, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
- Assists with the external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information, support the preparation of financial reports, and develop the monthly financial reporting package as well as ad hoc analysis as required.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
- This role will perform traditional general accounting functions such as : cash management, payroll analysis, general ledger, and month-end closings.
- You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business processes and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST.
