What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Route Driver position at Ft Dodge Distributing?
Job Duties
- Checks truck load to ensure proper product and package count.
- Follows check-in and check-out procedures.
- Monitors code dates to ensure fresh product.
- Stocks, rotates and faces all products that are stocked.
- Manages, rotates and keeps a neat backstock
- Rotates backstock to cooler and shelf space as needed, according to plannogram
- Delivers via dolley or pallet jack
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Valid driver's license with clean driving record required; class A CDL preferred. Can train for class A or B.
- Ability to lift/maneuver up to 165 pounds on occasion (beer keg) .
- Displays a positive attitude and patience in dealing with customers.
- Ability to interact with customers and resolve issues.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of mobile devices, including an iPod.
- High attention to detail.
- Proven teamwork and people skills.
- Must pass drug and alcohol test.
- Outstanding work ethic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
