What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administration Assistant position at Ft Yuma Quechan Indian Tribe?
Under general supervision of the Executive Director(s), performs and /or oversees a variety of associated administrative, fiscal, staff support, and planning activities such as budget administration and control, equipment, facilities, and inventory management, specialized record keeping and database management, and/or specified information-gathering projects and tasks. Coordinates and facilitated meetings, program functions, and/or special events, as appropriate. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
High School Diploma or GED, and three years administrative or secretarial experience. Casino Slot operation experience preferred. Must be able to type 40 wpm. Must be proficient in operation business computers and office machines, including Word, Excel, Access, and presentation software (i.e. Powerpoint). Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California. Native American preference and/or experience with Native America culture and government preferred.
