Function: Purchasing
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of part/material movement.
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
- Verify Parts Router, transfer and move material in between Production Support Shops
- Move BlueTag and RTS Materials from Inspection to the Stock Room
- Transfer and move Outbound Repair Material from Support Shops to Shipping
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- 3 years of experience in Inventory Parts Mover
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Pass pre-employment drug testing per FAA/DOT regulations
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
- The candidate should be goal-oriented, have good attention to detail, and must work well in team situations and also as an individual
- Well-organized with basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask
- The job requires careful diligence/attention in performing duties under normal mental stresses commonly associated with detailed work.
- Should be able to perform moderately strenuous physical tasks which include bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead for a long period of time
Job Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and small carry parcels, packages and other items, to walk short distances, and drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.
