As a records clerk, your job duties include assisting the Records Analyst in verifying documents, preparing files for archiving or exchange, maintaining a records inventory process or file management system, and destroying records under certain circumstances.
Key Responsibilities/essential Functions Include
- Assist the Records Analyst in performing incoming records review for engines and accessories to determine status regarding Manufacturers maintenance requirements, Services Bulletins / Modifications, and Airworthiness Directives.
- Collect and sort all work order documents received in Records Dept.
- Audit all received paperwork for complete and accurate documentation of work performed.
- Communicate with shopfloor personnel regarding paperwork corrections.
- Prepare Accessory/QEC Reports for final review by Records Analyst.
- Prepare LLP Status reports for final review by Records Analyst.
- Prepare Master On/Off Log for final review by Records Analyst.
- Participate in special projects as deemed valuable to the Department and Company
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Sound organizational skills with above-average attention to detail
- Strong computer skills Quantum, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook- and ability to learn other software programs.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Aviation industry knowledge and experience helpful, but not required.
- Ability to provide quality work.

- Ability to stay self-motivated.
