This role will be critical in shaping our talent acquisition framework, building scalable systems, and ensuring that our pipeline of qualified candidates aligns with the company’s ambitious growth objectives.

Job Overview:

The Director of Recruiting and Talent will be the primary architect and driver of FTE’s talent acquisition efforts, ensuring that we attract, evaluate, and secure top-tier talent to meet the evolving demands of our business. This position will place a significant emphasis on identifying and nurturing talent pipelines, particularly from the manufacturing and industrial sectors, to meet our unique needs as a consulting organization. Reporting directly to the company’s Integrator and serving as a member of the leadership team, the role will influence strategic decisions and play a vital part in scaling our workforce to match the company’s rapid growth trajectory.


Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and lead a strategic recruitment framework to build a robust pipeline of highly qualified candidates for consulting and operational roles.
  • Focus on proactive sourcing strategies to identify talent from manufacturing and industrial sectors, targeting individuals with the expertise to thrive in dynamic, results-driven environments.
  • Build and implement scalable systems for candidate outreach, evaluation, and selection, ensuring alignment with FTE’s cultural values and operational goals.
  • Manage and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure a seamless candidate experience and data-driven decision-making.
  • Conduct behavioral-based interviews and assessments to ensure candidates align with both role-specific competencies and company culture.
  • Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to develop tailored recruitment strategies, including training on best practices and compliance.
  • Leverage metrics and analytics to monitor key performance indicators such as turnover rates, recruitment timelines, and employee engagement


Talent Management and Retention:

  • Design and implement programs to identify, attract, and retain high-potential talent, ensuring strong succession planning for key roles.
  • Partner with leadership to refine competitive compensation and benefits packages that appeal to top-tier talent in our target sectors.
  • Support the development of performance management systems and career development pathways that align with FTE’s growth objectives.


Strategic Talent Planning and Leadership:

  • Act as a strategic partner to leadership, aligning talent acquisition strategies with FTE’s long-term business objectives.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives to position FTE as a top-choice employer in both the consulting and industrial sectors.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to design and execute scalable onboarding programs that accelerate new hire productivity.
  • Develop a data-driven approach to forecast workforce needs and proactively address potential talent shortages.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, leveraging insights to continuously enhance FTE’s processes.
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with all relevant labor laws and regulations, including federal and state requirements.
  • Lead efforts to develop and scale structured onboarding programs to enable rapid productivity for new hires.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of recruitment experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and preferably within a consulting, manufacturing, or industrial organization.
  • Strong proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other management tools.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling recruitment processes and building high-performing teams during periods of rapid growth.
  • Expertise in proactive sourcing strategies, including the use of advanced tools, platforms, and networks.
  • Strong proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other technologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building strong relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations governing recruitment and hiring.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to operational sites and key client meetings to ensure close alignment with business needs.


What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $140,000 - $170,000 per year.
  • Bonus potential: Up to 50% of base salary, with opportunities for performance-based increases.
