Job Description
The Store Manager is responsible for the daily store operations. This role requires a strong leader who will be hands-on with the day-to-day operations, but also helps to drive the overall company strategy. You’ll need to build and maintain relationships with managers, hourly employees, carrier partners, vendors, and various departments in the company. Most importantly, you’ll need to provide exceptional customer service. Successful store managers are highly motivated to drive improvements every single day.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safe, neat, clean, and orderly facility.
- Control costs and manage operations within targeted budget.
- Hire, train, develop, coach, and motivate employees.
- Efficiently use and manage our operating systems and processes.
- Follow brand and store standards as outlined by Bidfta.com
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED plus at least 3 years' experience supervising and leading people.
- An excellent safety record is required.
- Ability to visually examine auction items and view computer screen.
- Proficiency in math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
- Requires experience and reasonable proficiency with computer systems.
- Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, verbal & written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- 8 to 10-hour days between 8 am and 6:30 pm five days a week are the standard, with on-call responsibility 24/7/365.
- English Proficiency.
- Our stores are often in warehouse settings and may not be climate controlled so you will need to dress for the season.
