Frontier Technology Inc. is looking for a highly experienced technology contributor with experience in software architecture, systems architecture, new business pursuit technical leadership, and product management to support the Technology, Business Development and Operations teams in helping shape unique offerings built around our core technology and value proposition. This role will span the organization to provide tactical and strategic support in creating and implementing software solutions that drive current and future value to our customers. This role will need to be comfortable communicating complex concepts to audiences of all levels - this requires an ability to identify who the target audience is for each engagement and adjust accordingly. Occasional travel will be required to support internal team meetings as well as on-site customer meetings.
- Working closely with Business Development and Operations will be able to support customer engagements and be able to communicate at varying degrees of technical depth and create content to support these engagements.
- Work within the technology organization to provide software system design for the advancement of existing and new technology - this includes helping with roadmap development, collection of VOC and other demand signals as well as being a key stakeholder within the product/technology development teams.
- Provide Software Solution engineering for Operations groups, designing software cloud and hybrid cloud enabled solutions that leverage FTI's existing and future planned technology, per the Technology roadmap, and is liaison between Technology and Operations for the resulting software products.
- Experience tailoring individual artifacts to present visual representations of the topic area for the successful consumption by a wide range of audiences.
- Will be leading and participating in facilitation sessions with stakeholders to capture relevant knowledge from mission SMEs and other voices of customer.
- Act as the authority on infrastructure architectural design to address business problems.
- Demonstrate understanding of the overarching connections among requirements, business/mission processes, activities, system functions, and interfaces with partner systems.
- Supporting business process reengineering efforts.
- Lead and participate in facilitation sessions with stakeholders in order to capture relevant knowledge from mission SMEs.
- Working in an agile environment developing deliverable drafts incrementally and regularly in short iterations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent client-facing and consulting skills
- Self-managed; strong communication skills (written and oral); leadership of a small teams
- 6 years of continuous full-time experience in enterprise software system architecture and solution design, technical new business capture support, and software professional services in the Federal and/or DoD domains
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Nice to have experience with any of: Product Management, Data Analytics and Visualizations (ML/DL), Digital Engineering (DE), Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), or Cyber.
