Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of agency wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs).
- Assist in designing and managing the WAN infrastructure and any processes related to the WAN.
- Provide Production Support of the Network, including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution client Networks.
- Support the dispatch of circuit and hardware vendors involved in the resolution process.
- Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Working knowledge in various software systems and architectures, communications protocols, and network hardware devices is desirable.
Required:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 4 years related professional experience; Or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 2 years' related professional experience.
- Must possess a current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), or CompTIA Security .
- You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.
- Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command.
- Experience with Defensive Cyber Operations (SSC/SZWO) program office.
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
