The position is responsible for leading and executing the overall Sourcing & Procurement strategy for FTI, related to the Product Development and OEM business unit. It involves collaborating with stakeholders across departments to develop new products being brought to market and/or renovating existing processes to align with best practices within the Sourcing team. The role drives best practices, standards, and processes within the OEM team related to Sourcing & Procurement. In certain areas, it involves creating a supply base that includes the best value proposition, supplier relationship management, and innovation potential.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field.
Experience: 7-10 years of electrical industry experience, along with purchasing, manufacturing, and/or distribution experience.
Travel: 25-40%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Defines and communicates a comprehensive vision for OEM Sourcing as it relates to organizational structures, processes, and procurement technology systems.
- Coaches and develops managerial talent by selecting, training, and evaluating their alignment to our leadership competencies, as well as their communication, decision-making, and planning. Assigns team and project leadership assignments to assess skills/abilities and holds direct reports accountable for managerial responsibilities.
- Develops and implements the specific initiatives that will move the OEM Sourcing organization along the road map with particular emphasis on the direct spend categories.
- Develops key metrics for the organization’s effectiveness; develops sourcing process disciplines and management systems necessary to achieve objectives.
- Leads strategic sourcing initiatives to meet business requirements and maximize value to participants across stakeholders and departments within Product portfolio that provide input within their individual market value propositions.
- Develops innovative approaches to Sourcing & Procurement activities that are closely linked to driving best practices in creating a supply base, maintaining supplier relationships, and harnessing value.
- Develops strategic partnerships with long-term value creation inclusive of incorporating Supply Agreements (MSA).
- Leads negotiations with key supplier partnerships on a wide range of metrics and deliverables.
- Collaborates closely with OEM team, other Supply Chain stakeholders, and Finance to establish and execute continuous improvement strategies related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Leads Procurement’s role in the manufacturing / OEM strategy and necessary value drivers from the supply base to achieve those goals and metrics. Programs include but not limited to: Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Code of Conduct, Strategic Supplier Negotiation & comprehensive contract implementation, and Supplier Quality Management & overall business continuity.
- Continues development of OEM Sourcing’s role in end-to-end (E2E) strategy inclusive of Procure to Pay (P2P) in concert with other departments & stakeholders. Heavy focus on Procurements role in our supply chain to assure material delivery from suppliers to drive overall productivity and effectiveness.
- Develops operational metrics to effectively track business efficiencies.
- Applies 80/20 principles to business unit operations.
- Effectively delegates tasks to appropriate parties; clearly communicates needs and expectations.
- Measures and monitors the work of individual direct reports and/or collective team/taskforce team(s).
- Provides frequent and clear feedback to direct reports, offers clear direction, and ensures direct reports are sure about their goals.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
