Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining financial records. This role is crucial in supporting our financial operations and requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles.
Duties
-Oversee the complete supplier setup and validation process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
-Maintain data integrity standards to uphold the accuracy of financial records and reports.
-Efficiently manage payment processing to ensure timely and precise disbursements to suppliers, including weekly payment runs for ACH, wire transfers, and manual checks.
-Serve as a point of contact for resolving disputes, working with both internal and external stakeholders to address invoicing issues.
-Process a high volume of vendor invoices and verify their accuracy against purchase orders, checking quantities, unit prices, payment terms, and additional charges.
-Perform account reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of financial transactions.
-Assist with voids, stop payments, reissuing checks, and resolving stale-dated checks.
-Thoroughly maintain files and documentation in compliance with company policies and accepted accounting practices.
-Support audit processes by ensuring all relevant accounts payable documentation is organized and compliant.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
