Position Overview:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and driving sales growth in a designated geographic area. This role requires an individual with a strong background in sales, customer relationship management, and a deep understanding of the homebuilding industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with the marketing, construction, and customer service teams to ensure the successful promotion and sale of new homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within your assigned area.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and train a team of sales consultants and representatives to ensure high performance and professionalism.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing customers, providing a consultative sales approach and personalized service.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and make strategic adjustments.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct sales presentations, open houses, and model home tours to engage prospective buyers and promote company products.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and close deals with clients, ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the construction, finance, and marketing teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management on performance and market conditions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company standards in all sales transactions and interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in the homebuilding or real estate industry (preferred).
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and manage multiple priorities.
- In-depth knowledge of the homebuilding market, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area as needed.
