What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Manager position at FTS Inc?
- Meet daily with department heads to provide guidance and establish expectations.
- Track key performance indicators and overall financial performance of the branch, taking corrective actions as needed to stay on budget.
- Arrive early and stay late at the branch to ensure all departments are operating at their best while adhering to company safety policies.
- Serve as the Quality Control expert by engaging with customers at the rental counter or visiting construction sites and corporate offices to ensure their needs are met and they are satisfied with services.
- Implement a "Manage-by-Walk-Around" approach by conducting daily audits across all departments to ensure employees understand and embody our company culture.
- Hold weekly departmental meetings.
- Conduct quarterly all-branch meetings to provide updates on current financial and operational goals, as well as communicate new objectives and expectations.
- Oversee sales teams, including one-on-one meetings, ride-alongs, joint customer meetings, and team meetings. Facilitate effective weekly sales meetings with outside sales representatives to clarify business objectives and ensure the team has the necessary information to sell and rent available inventory.
- Ensure that all sales representatives are meeting budget targets during one-on-one interviews and develop business and sales plans for necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure rental equipment is ready for rent and manage teams to meet fleet availability goals, ensuring the rental department can fulfill all customer orders.
- Work with the rental and service manager to verify that inventory records are accurate, preventing overages or losses. Establish a system to maintain proper levels of merchandise and parts inventory to meet customer needs.
- Ensure all employees participate in and complete required product and self-improvement training programs.
- Engage with local trade organizations by serving on boards, attending events, and supporting group activities.
- Develop and implement an effective marketing plan to drive business through special events that showcase our extensive range of equipment and services.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
